I've just got back from the hospital and I'm absolutely fuming, feel like I'm going to explode

My Ds was born at 30wks, and was in hospital for 6 weeks after, he came home but after 2wks, I noticed that his breathing was much quicker and a bit wheezy. Anyway after a weeks obs in hospital turns out a valve in his heart has re-opened, he had the surgery at the beginning of the week - all went well.

Anyway he's been in the post op ward since my dd is only 16mths and my dp works away alot so I only get to visit for a couple of hrs a day

When I went to get him a bottle today, the nurse heated it up and then poured it into an Avent bottle, and told me he fed better with this I have never had a problem feeding him, after a slow start he has always taken his bottles really well...

I was also told by neonatal that he should take the brown teats as they are softer and the silicone can tire him quite quickly as he has to suck that much harder.....

Anyway gave him the bottle and he only took half his feed

But the thing that's made me so angry is, that they didn't ask me first, I'm his mother ffs The daft thing is if they'd said they were struggling to get him to feed I probably would have said ok.

I'm so upset, so many decisions have been made without me with regards my ds since he was born (for obvious reasons)but I think this is just rude plus I don't want to have problems when he comes home, and I'm worried that if he stops feeding well they'll keep him in longer

Should I complain? Or will I just piss all the nurses off?

Sorry so long...thought a bit of background necessary.
