Freezer power off, breast milk defrosted, safe to use?

Realised yesterday that power to the garage freezer got switched off on monday, I had breast milk in there which had defrosted but felt very cold (colder than fridge temp), so I then moved it to the fridge. Is it safe to give to the baby?

I wouldn't I'm afraid. How does it smell?

It should be used as soon as it's defrosted really. Sorry.

Fresh breast milk is probably ok in the fridge for 5 days, but frozen milk should be used as soon as it has defrosted.

Thanks all, and especially Dino for the link (why didn't I think of looking there?)

Will chuck it tomorrow. ... whoever said no point crying over spilt milk had clearly never wasted breast milk Sad
