Hello
Just a quickie - my dd is 17 months old and is now mainly on cow's milk. She was completely BF until 7 months, then I gave her some solids to go with. From a year, she has mainly had cow's milk with a short bf in the morning and evening (plus if she fell over etc).
She has now pretty much decided that she doesn't want any more BM on a regular basis. I probably gave her her last regular feed about 2 weeks ago. However, she does still like to snack here and there if she wakes in the night (as she is teething and miserable). I am happy for her to keep this up but just wonder how long I will still produce milk if it is only being taken occasionally. To complicate matters further, I am 11 weeks pg and would like BF to be completely over well before the new baby arrives so that I can start again.
Can I keep up her snack feeds here and there knowing that there will always be milk? Or should I stop them to ensure she is definitely not looking for BF by the time the next baby is here (March)? Any advice much appreciated.
Many thanks
