I am having a really feel shit about myself day. I have no clothes whatsoever and I'm existing in leggings which are making me feel miserable (fickle I know).

I'm going to 2 christening over the next 2 weekends. I desperately need something to wear that I can feed in and feel like in dressed half decently. I'm so sick of life in Lycra!

Tips please.......

What size are you?
What's your colouring?

Patterned/plain?

I lived in lycra for ages too so don't feel like your alone OP Grin

I have this wear it with a bright cardigan such as pink/yellow or green. Shoes can be navy, nude or in the other colour.

If you wear the cardigan you can do the upper buttons when feeding so you are it exposing your whole breast. My dd just grabs at scarfs and muslins.

Thanks for your responses.

I'm a size 14 but ds3 is only 13 weeks old so still got pregnancy weight and wobbly bits.

I've just ordered an underwired nursing bra which hopefully will make me feel better. I'm a 32G and 5 ft 6.

My hair is dark brown as are my eyes and I just feel like a big fat marshmallow who smells of milk and needs an overhaul.

What about something like this: www.joules.com/Women/Dresses/Marilyn/Womens-Jersey-Dress/Indigo-Seagull?id=Q_MARILYN%7CINDGUL

I have this dress and it's totally breastfeeding friendly. It's comfy, but looks quite smart, especially if you dress it up with heels.

If you don't want to wap a whole boob out the top, you can wear a short vest top underneath which could go up while the dress goes down. Or use a scarf or a cardigan to cover up a bit.

Look at Seraphine's website.

Some really pretty well designed dresses especially for nursing mums.

Purplehonesty · 22/06/2014 11:42

Oh I like that suz. Good choice!

MyNameIsSuz · 22/06/2014 11:49

It's a great dress Purple! The pleating at the waist skims over any lumps and it's very flattering. Definitely needs something underneath though as it's quite low cut.

I hadn't thought of these style dresses being suitable. I've got one already which I could practice getting the boob out with.

I like nice and maxi from your links Dotty. Going to have a good look online now.

I got two button front dresses from joy and have bf in them. You see a bit more boob in button front but it's easy access at least!
