Breastfeeding and returning to work

Hi
I am due to return to work in two and half months as a teacher by which time my baby will be seven and half months. She is EBF and will not take a bottle.
I am worried about returning to work in September as she will still need milk as well as solids, which we will have started by then. Fortunately I am only going back part time at three days a week.

I Would like to know if anyone has any advice as to what they did in preparation for nursery/ returning to work.

If I BF morning, when I collect her and then in the evening will this be enough for her?
Do you think it will be possible to breastfeed in the day, on the days I am not at work or will my supply be affected?
I was thinking I could also express and send expressed milk into nursery if she will take expressed milk from a cup (we are yet to try this.) I haven't expressed much so far as had not needed to, so this would take some practice.

One thing that concerns me about expressing is that I would need to continue to do so on my days at work. I really don't want to express at work as cannot see when I would have the opportunity. Would it be possible that I could do this only on my days off?

Any advice really to set my mind at rest. Many thanks

In my experience I could easily go a day apart from DC1 without expressing at that age. Your supply will be pretty robust by then so I would guess you will be fine to feed as normal on your non-work days.

Can you fit in a night feed/dream feed on your work days? If so I would imagine 4 feeds, plus milky food/expressed milk in cereal during the day would be fine if she won't have a bottle or cup.

No experience, but some sympathy here - I'm returning to work next week with a seven and a half month baby. I think he may go without milk for the approx 7 hrs I'll be away, but I'm a bit worried he'd make up for it at night and he already wakes up several times. I may express milk for him, but as a trial I'll probably leave a carton of pre-mix formula for my husband. I'm also a bit unsure about being able to express at work, but I think I'll get too engorged otherwise, at least to begin with.
We also have a bottle refuser and sippy cups are still very messy, but have found most success with a beaker with a pop-up straw.

Your employer should make provision for you to express at work. Nursing mothers are protected under the Equality Act. I'm not sure how this would work for a teacher but your employer should work something for you.

I go back to work next month and DD will be 7 months. On the KIT days I fed her at 7 am, expressed at midday and then fed her when I got home at 5.30. She has always been an evening feeder so it's been not too bad she's just dropped a feed at 11 and moved the 4pm one.

If you can express see if she will take the milk from somebody else is a spouted beaker. Dd won't even entertain it if I'm in the room but will quite happily drink from one at other time.
