Green poo for 10 days - ebf 20 weeks - help!

My 20 wk old has developed green poo issues. Sometimes foamy sometimes less so. He's had it consistently for about 10 days now.
Not been feeding any differently to before or eating diff foods so I don't know why it's happening!
I have noticed he's become more fussy again however. We've had our bf battles with thrush and tt but both resolved a good 6 weeks ago. He's now feeding for 5 mins and then coming off and shouting. He refuses to go back on sane side but will go on other side for couple mins.
Usually he is a v fast feeder but he's def even more so now.
He's been gaining weight fine though this may impact I guess. Never been though I did wonder sometimes about silent reflux given the shouting end of feed.
After feeding he is fine and never seems hungry. I generally feed every 3 hours. He still feeds 2x at night too.
Any ideas? I am going to call hv too. I've read about fore/hind imbalance which might be issue due to never feeding for long but I don't know how to resolve. I can't force him to eat more than he wants. Maybe I should try one side for 2 feeds then swap?

Yes tiktok that's what I did hence waiting to see if it happened again.

The bleeding was during a few days of very frequent poos that resulted in nappy rash and I wondered if it was just some kind of internal nappy rash from the constant pooing... The pooing has slowed down now and the rash gone so I'm not sure if I would be able to draw any conclusions from excluding cmp IYSWIM.

Her poo is more yellow today and has that warm biscuity smell - that's how I always think of it! - that I remember from DC1.

But as josephine says mucous may indicate a problem.

GP or HV for this sort of thing?

I've just had the sand frequent green poo stage with 18week old DS. Had the same advice re dairy and foremilk from GP but ignored it and the pooing has gone from 15x green a day to 3x yellow. It has coincides with him learning to roll over! He feeds every 2 hrs at night too Sad

When this happened to me I stopped bf and went to ff, dd wasn't getting enough milk.

Green poo combined with weight loss or very poor weight gain and a baby who is not thriving can be a sign the baby is not getting sufficient milk - this doesn't apply to the OP's baby.

I think you need to see the gp to get it checked out. This is a medical issue, not something a HV will necessarily be able to sort out. Go to the doc OP.

DS has CMPA & soy allergies. Green poo are a symptom but it comes with a range of others too.

He is super farty, has reflux, the poo has an acrid smell and burns his bum really quickly. As a newborn he was mucousy generally, you could hear it on his chest. He gets patches of eczema if exposed to either and cries with tummy ache, especially at night.

Hello
Well his poos have gone back to yellow again. He's being quite fussy feeding at the mo so I think it was just down to that plus distractable at the mo (yes to rolling!) plus just had cold.
I've been making him feed from one side for longer rather than swap as he's been gaining weight fine and is otherwise happy. Seems to have done trick.
Once he's less fussy and back to feeding for longer will go back to both sides. Will watch his weight though too.
Hoorah!
