A bad pump has given me a blister. Should I pop it?

Back story...
100% expressing for do who is tube fed. My hospital loaned pump expired yesterday so I was forced to use my Tommee Tippee manual monstrosity! I would NEVER recommend this one to anybody
It's given me a clear fluid filled blister on the top of one nipple. I have to keep pumping, and it doesn't hurt, much but the blister is growing. Should I pop it to stop it spreading and possibly blocking ducts? Or just slap on the sudocreme and hope for the best?

Hmm! I had an expressing blister with DD1 (not expressing with DD2) and I popped so it would heal faster. It hurt though...

just be careful. i poked my nipple blister with a needle and it didnt work, went grey and manky. the doctor laughed at me (kindly) and told me to leave well alone. but i did have mastitis which was treated with abs and both the mastitis and blister cleared off together

If you are tempted to pop it, clean the area first and use a sterile needle (boil up in some water). Use something non-fibrous to dry the area and leave exposed to dry. Booby milk is a good thing to put on it (I wouldn't put sudocrem on it...).

I popped! Smile I've got one big one and some smaller ones. They bloody hurt! I thought I'd better pop because I was feeling a bit sore in that quarter. its not been too bad now it's dried out! Confused
I will NEVER recommend flipping Tommee Tippee closer to nature pumps to ANYONE!
They're appalling! first 2 times I needed to resort to it I go huge egg shaped blockages in both breasts and this time blisters! Blush
