I'm having to bottle feed one of my twins for the times I'm not there (other twin in hospital).

We have currently been using SNS either strapped to DH or on it's own to feed her as it's the only thing she will take. However she's not getting enough and sleeping before she finishes.

We've tried droppers, spoons, cups, NUK, Tommee, Medela, Dr Browns, Avent, mOmma and Evenflo.

We know she needs fast flow (she responds best to these teets) and prefers silcone teets but I'm running out of ideas on how to get her to take a bottle. I can take her upto 10 minutes just to get her to suckle or put it in her mouth.

Any brands I haven't tried? Any methods I can try?

I'd rather not use bottles but I can't take her with me all the time to the hospital.

Oh and they're almost 31 weeks (22w adj). Sorry for rambling on!!

What kind of cups have you tried? If you've been trying open cups, you could try a sippy cup instead, and vice versa. If she likes silicone teats, maybe try a soft spouted cup? Also the soft silicone straw cups are suitable from six months, I think? This NCT leaflet has a few tips including softening the teat with warm water. I hope you find a solution that works, and that your other DT is better soon.

How about playtex? You can get them from amazon. My dd would take nothing else - they do silicone teats.

Anyone heart of BreastFlo? dd's Ped recommended them but I've never heard of them.

I haven't used myself, but I think there have been a few threads mentioning them I found this one .

I tried lots of bottles with DD1, and spent £s, and it was Breastflow that she finally took (aged 5months). The teat is in two pieces. At first she would only take it without the grey insert which is laborious as the teat keeps collapsing but once she was used to them (a day or two later), I inserted the grey bit and she didn't notice. Having learnt the hard way that some babies really do refuse bottles outright* I started DD2 on Breastflow bottles from a week old.

*Hooefully the naysayers are long gone but I remember being very upset when I asked for help on this three years ago for DD1 and some posters were really aggressive about the fact I clearly wasn't trying hard enough with the bottle Hmm

good luck!
