How much does your baby posset?

I'm BF my 10wo DS. He spews an awful lot... Sometimes it's watery, sometimes it's mouthful after mouthful. Other times it's thick & smells pretty awful. I've motives lately it's worse if he's been in the car a lot...
I have had overproduction issues in the past ( he's my 4th BF DC). Not sure he has reflux as my eldest DD did & the screaming was terrible. He's not awfully happy on his back, but truly none of my DC were & all hve slept on their tummies after a few weeks (have an angelcare & no other SIDS risk factors so am happy to do this).
I'm just interested in whether this possetting is normal or excessive....

I'm BF DS2 and he possetted A LOT. He's almost 6mos old now and still throws up after most feeds. I've been to the GP about it a couple of times - first time was prescribed Gaviscon in case it was reflux but we never really used it as we weren't convinced. Second GP visit I was told as long as he's gaining weight (which he is) then it's nothing to worry about and he'll grow out of it eventually.

I'm still not really sure why he does it, sometimes I wonder if he's just guzzling far more than he needs and bringing up what he doesn't require?!

It sounds like more than is typical possetting. DS2 is quite sicky but it's usually a mouthful and milky rather than proper vomitting iyswim.

I have to feed on a plastic sheet, towels and waterproof trousers! Mornings are the worst for multiple soakimgs, we both have to be hosed down after the first feed.

Espresso that sounds like us. I'm putting it down to forceful let down. & good supply. The possetting goes on all evening too ( I've just stripped off my top half straight into the washing machine), but the volume is way worse in the mornings. I fed my last DD lying down or lying back which helped. DS was premature though, so he was too small/ latch too poor for that. Must start now though.
