Can I get pregnant and continue to breast feed?

Just that really! Currently breastfeeding my 10 month old DS and DP and I are keen to start work on TTC a little brother or sister in a few months Smile.

My period has not returned and there is no sign of it coming any time soon (except my usual once a month spot break out!). I really don't want to force DS to stop BFing before he is ready so I can get pregnant again.

Do you have any advice or success stories??

Yes! I was still feeding my dd 3 or 4 times a day when I got pregnant when she was 9months. I am now 19 weeks pregnant and she is down to 1 feed a day. I think my milk supply is starting to dry up though (I think this is quite common at 20 weeks).
Good luck

I forgot to say- my periods returned when she started on solids at 6 months

I got pregnant twice while breastfeeding. First ovulation both times so no periods between pregnancies. Perfectly do-able. Second time around I ended up tandem nursing for 28 months
