Can you make formula with bottled water???

I should know the answer to this.

DS2 (2.2yrs) drinks Nutramigen. (long story to explain why but basically GORD, allergies/intolerances etc). Those of you that are familiar with Nutramigen will know that it is made up in a different way to 'normal' formula. (I make up bottles with boiled water, then keep in fridge and bring to room temperature before adding the powder and giving to him to drink at room temperature).

I am going away tomorrow and will be staying in a B&B for a couple of days, without easy access to a fridge. I just had a thought, that maybe I could use bottled water for a couple of days? Is that 'allowed'??

TIA

Yes. Evian is usually recommended as being low in sodium and (I think potassium

yes, but some bottled waters contain a lot of sodium. at 2.2 I doubt you need to worry too much, but it's best to check.

ps that's how I used to make up normal formula. is tehre another way?

ooo thanks you two! I expected a host of NOs!

SenoraPosttraphe - the 'normal' way I think is to add the powder before refridgerating, and then reheating before serving. I think!
