You can't always tell by the way your breasts feel whether you're producing milk or not. Is the baby feeding OK and seeming satisfied? That's a better indication than how your breasts feel.

Just keep feeding, and your body will keep producing. Hope you feel better soon.

Hi juice. I know it's not quite the same for me as I have been BF for 7 months now, but we also got the bug at the weekend, and the milk seemed to go down, but is now beeing built back up by DS feeding a bit more frequently than normal. We both had i though, so he wasn't interested in feeding a lot at all...
Hope it all goes well, and if you really need to inctrease your supply you could always consider expressing..

aaaaaaaaaah, can you BF with D & V? it was the one thing I was told the baby can catch...

Quootie, yes - you can breastfeed with D&V. The NHS information about it is here . You just need to make sure that you keep well hydrated.

Juice - milk works on a supply and demand basis, so just feed your baby more and you will produce more.

It's normal for the supply to settle down a bit around 6 weeks though, when a feeding pattern is a bit more established, so it may just be that you don't feel so full because of this.
