Bottle strike - any one had this? How long did it last?

DS3 was ebf until 3 weeks ago (he's nearly 7 months old) when we introduced bottles. He spent a week refusing to take them, then took them happily, then refused to take them for a few days, then took them again (only 3 or 4 oz each time) but since I returned to work on Monday he has gone on bottle strike entirely - took 1 oz twice on Monday, nothing yesterday (opens mouth, takes 3 or 4 sucks of the bottle then refuses to have any more) and I suspect nothing at all today. He's reverse cycling and feeding through the night to make up.

Has anyone's baby done this and how long did it go on for? The milk in the bottles is EBM (we were starting to introduce formula but have stopped doing that as he wasnt taking it so its just EBM). He has a tooth that cut through 2 weeks ago (when he refused the bottle for a few days) and a slight cold but that doesnt seem to stop him bfing when I'm around so am just abit stumped...

I usually only find its before the tooth comes through is the problem.
But they do travel in pairs.
Mine did want to bf more during teething for comfort. But was a little bit off solids
Try pain relief if he seems unsettled and see if he will take bottle then

We had two bottle strikes with DD - first when she was about 3 months old and the flow was getting too slow for her, but it took me forever to establish that I had to change the teat (also I was mixed-feeding and was afraid the faster teat will get her off the breast all together). And then, we had a second strike at 7 months and lasted a month - i was bottle-feeding her in a breastfeeding position, and once i changed the position so she can watch the world go by while feeding, it all resolved. I felt very silly both times, as I was imagining all kinds of serious issues like silent reflux, instead it was something very simple... good luck!
