Ds2 is feeding at 8 pm, midnight, 3am, 5 am, 8am...

But then 1pm, then 6 pm!

how can I persuade him to do it the other way round? It's not a comfort thing as he is taking massive feeds at night and not much in the day. He does sleep inbetween feeds though!

I have tried offering more often in the day, he isn't interested.

he is 15 weeks old.

I don't mind the night feeds, just that he seems to have got a bit mixed up!

isn't there some theory that the daytime is too exciting for them to be interested in feeding as there's so much else going on, so night (when there's 0 to do but feed) is when they pack the sessions in?

(and repeat calmly 'it's a phase, it's a phase' )

`Ah. This could be true.

But I would have thought he would take it when it's offered, rather than having to squeak for it! (I'm a heavy sleeper)

you can see the reasoning though - 'oi, get that boob out of my face, can't you see I'm busy watching the fruit bowl / the ceiling / working out how to wiggle my toes?'
then twelve hours later: 'Everything's dark, it's all quiet, nothing's happening, how bored am I... what's that weird rumbling noise? My tummy? Ooh, there's a thought, I could do with some food. Mum! Muuuuuum!'

Maybe offering daytime feeds somewhere really calm and quiet (read: dull) would do the trick?

I could... I have a lively 3 year old though, who is of course fascinating in every way.
