Dd is 12 weeks and is ebf, she won't take a bottle.

Could she really use a doidy cup so young?

Give it a go and see?

Mine never took a bottle, but I decided that the 6 months would pass soon enough and not to stress, gave them a cup at 6 months and they took to that very quickly.

Are you going back to work and need her to take a bottle? If so, you need to leave the house and let somebody else try, and let it take as long as it takes.

I had a similar problem with DS. What eventually worked for us was pouring newly boiling water over the teat, letting it cool a bit so the teat is nice and warm, he took it straight away after two weeks of rejection. Might be coincidence though but it worked

The problem I found with the Doidy cup is that it's a bit big for tiny babies i.e. the curve of the rim is too shallow so liquid is spilt at the edges of their mouths. The best pre-weaning cup I found was one from a toy set from Toys R Us!

At that age she will probably lap at the milk like a kitten rather than sip. I agree with henry that the rim is very wide for a small baby - you might do better with a shot glass.

Harry, not Henry!

Thanks for the gentrification Fru Wink
