When did your periods restart after having baby and how do/did you feed your baby

I'm mixed feeding and baby is almost 8 weeks, wondering if I'm feeling mild stomach period like cramps

Still not back. DS 17 months and still bf. Was hoping we'd be TTC by now as am not getting any younger.
Have had the odd twinge that I thought was pre-period cramps, but no period.

Ds1 ebf, I think about 6m
DTs, also ebf -17 (glorious) months

EBF, 7 weeks

3 months after the last breast feed.

Dd was ebf for 6 months, finished mixed feeding at 9 months. First period at 12 months.

Ds was ebf for 9 months. Last feed 10 months. At 13 months I had first period.

Ebf and back at 4 months. Same for both children.

Exactly six weeks with all five of my dc. Ebf the first and ff the rest.

DS was EBF until 6 months. He was 2 at the end of December. We still bf for his nap (if he has one) and once or twice at night and are co sleeping.

My periods haven't returned yet.

I've also wondered about this OP. My DS is 5 months and EBF. No sign of period yet though I didn't stop bleeding till 6 weeks post partum.

Normally I wouldn't be in a rush for my period to return but we would like to try for DC2 at the end if the year and worried that my chances are reduced without regular periods. I also want to BF DS for as long as he wants too though!

NotNoah you need more than just your periods returning to conceive - many women have anovulatory cycles for some time, or a too-short luteal phase. Night weaning and Vit B supplements can help.

EBF, though obv started on solids

DS1 - 6 months
DS2 - 9 months (and the worst period I've EVER had)

DS1: EBF to 13 months, period restarted at 13.5 months
DS2: EBF to 16 months, period restarted at 21 months

I fed my first 2 with formula and had periods after 6-8 weeks. 3 rd was bf I got my period at 17 mths.

EBF but now only feeding at night, DD is 25 months and my period hasn't restarted yet.

11month ebf bf until 14 couple of times a day while introducing milk from 12m
