Can anyone recommend a dummy that works well with a breastfed baby?

My dd is 12 weeks. I really dont want her to have a dummy, but im noticing more and more that i'm having to feed her off to sleep, even if its just for a daytime nap. I've tried the Tommy Tippee 'Nuby' and a MAM dummy, neither of which she'll entertain! Can anyone recommend a dummy that worked for them?

Thanks -x-

Hi, I don't know, but you may find she is too old to be introduced to the dummy.

My DD was 3 weeks when we gave her a dummy and to be honest, now she is 2 and a half and we are beginning to plan how to get rid of it, I wish we never had.

BTW - she had the Tommee Tippee ones (can't remember the 'name' of them) with the patterns/pictures on the white part ... we moved on to the Tommee Tippee red, yellow and blue ones when she got a rash from her saliva where the dummy touched the skin around her mouth and she still has those now.

Oh, and DD was full breastfed - dummy had no adverse affect on feeding.

What sort of dummy are you trying?

Is it the Orthodontic teat or the cherry ones?
My dd would only ever have the cherry ones.

I use the Avent dummy which works for my BF DS. Although he didn't want to take it at first but now he takes it just when he's tired which was a relief as he was previously using me as the dummy!
