Anybody using infasoy / waysoy?

Long story short - dd has all the signs of cows milk protein allergy but is only treated for reflux (gaviscon) and severe eczema (zerobase & hydrocortisone cream). Recent test for lactose intolerance come back normal, next gp appt not until 8th jan, dermatologists not until feb!
I'm desperate to help her, her reflux symptoms are just getting worse and her eczema is so sore & spreading rapidly, she is suffering so much.
So after talking with my dh we think we are going to try her on a soy-based formula, see if eliminating dairy makes a difference at all. Anyone had any experience like this and good results from infasoy?

Soya based formula should only be given under the direction of a doctor. No not give it to them without it.

HV listed it as an option last week...

Are you aware of the concerns regarding phytoestrogens? A good explanation here: www.nhs.uk/chq/Pages/can-I-give-my-baby-soya-based-infant-formula.aspx?CategoryID=62&SubCategoryID=63

Is your baby currently bf or ff? If the former, could you try going dairy-free until you can see the GP? Not ideal over Christmas, of course...

Hope you find a solution soon.

She is formula fed, since 6wks, which is when problems really began.
Tbh when researching soy formulas, I found both positive and negative stories, studies and experiences, which I guess is always the way with everything. I am aware many people feel strongy against soya, but I feel strongly about trying anything I can to help my baby girl. Trying infasoy is the most easily accessible option at the moment, at least until the docs appt.

The is a 40% cross over with dairy/soy allergies as the proteins are similar. So many with cows milk will go in the develop problems with soy.

I would avoid soy as having an allergy to it is a nightmare a d not a risk I would take.
