Need the help of someone wise - colostrum

Stopped breast feeding in the middle if August (ds was 9 1/2 months old) no leaking cut down really slowly over a month/6weeks
Just taken clothes off for shower - noticed something on my nipple (sort of on the end) (sorry for tmi) picked it off easily then noticed my nipple looked wet - I can swueeze my boob and what I can only assume is colostrum comes out, tried the other one as you do and the same
Google search doesn't really help me as everything I find says about colostrum being produced in late pregnancy (which I am not)
Have had the implant since feb, have had some irregular bleeding and some that seemed more period like

Any clues suggestions? Please?
And it's a Sunday night so no where open for a test just incase I was the 0.1% it what ever it is

It just hangs around for ages. I could get milk 2 years after I stopped feeding dd2

I'm not wise Grin but I very much doubt it's colostrum. You may be pregnant, which could cause thin milk to leak, but probably pretty far down the pregnancy road so it's probably not that. Plus the implant is pretty efficient I think.

Personally I think you still have milk from your previous bf-ing. Some women can take up to 2 years to stop producing milk, I certainly took several weeks, so you could just have a couple of active ducts still.

Also apparently some oral medicines can cause non-painful breast leakage. google 'clear discharge from nipple' rather than colostrum and see what comes up.

It's almost certainly not colostrum but concentrated breastmilk ie breastmilk with less water in it. Perfectly normal to still produce this even several years after stopping bf, if bf has been well-established.

Check with your HV if you are worried.

Wow
Didn't realise it could still be breast milk!! I knew some wise mumsnetters would have better answers
Will have a google if the suggestions
Unless I'm hiding a tiny baby in there as had had no symptoms!! (Would've been happy if you'd all have said yes preggers though, waiting for an appointment to have implant out - doctor at my surgery that does it is in long term sick, went to sexual health clinic instead - consent paper work filled in - next appointment is jJanuary Sad)
Sorry for the rant
