Dropping BF and not replacing with formula

My DD is 8 months and I've started dropping the 10.30am feed in anticipation of going back to work after Christmas. I really don't want to replace with a bottle of formula and I've had some HV and BF peer supporter advice that says as long as I give her calcium rich foods (she's a very good eater) then I don't have to replace with formula. You'd think this would reassure me right? But then the MN weaning advice says only if they're 'just shy' of their first birthday and obviously that's 4 months away for my DD. I'm giving her vitamin drops as per advice and she's eating a big bowl of porridge, an adult sized portion of yogurt for lunch pudding plus meals like kedgeree, cauliflower cheese etc as mains and a milk based pudding in the evening. We smuggle broccoli into quite a lot of her meals and her weight is 75th percentile so seems to be doing well. I just wondered if anyone else had dropped a feed without replacing with formula and how it went? Or advice from people in the know about these things. I don't want my DD to be harmed because I don't want to give her formula but if formula is better than what I'm doing (done it since Friday) then of course I'll buy some. I'm still feeding 7am, 2.30pm and 6.15pm. She doesn't seem massively fussed about wanting the 10.30am feed and happily has a few finger food snacks instead. Many thanks.

It's fine. If she wants more milk she can just have bigger feeds when you do feed her. That's what's great about bfing.

DD2 has never touched milk of any kind except BM. Seems to have done just fine on yoghurt, cheese and the milk that comes on cereal/in porridge.

Just had longer bed time feeds on nursery days.

I did hope she'd have more at the other feeds. Not noticing a big difference yet but early days. Also was advised the composition changes to meet their needs so hoping the three she does have are more jam packed than the four.

Yes no problem at all. My DS refused the bottle so we dropped down feeds and relied on calcium rich foods instead.
