Hayfever, antihistamines, breastfeeding and a sleepy baby

My ds is 8.5 months and we are breastfeeding around 4-6 times a day and not at all from 7pm to 6.30am.
I am really struggling with my hayfever and although I mostly just get on with it and don't take any drugs, sometimes I just have to as it gets so bad. I have been taking Piriton but it knocks me for six and makes me feel awful. I have taken it twice in the last week, and both times, ds has napped for much longer than usual. This afternoon, he napped for 3 hours instead of 1.5hrs and I don't like the idea that what I am taking has such an effect on him. I didn't even benefit from him having an extra long sleep as I conked out too because of the drowsiness caused by the Piriton.
My LLL counsellor referred me to this website . It seems to have all the information I need, however I am struggling to compare Clarityn, Zirtek and Telfast as the transfer rate to breastmilk is given in a different format for each one. Can anyone help?
My drug of choice pre pregnancy and breastfeeding was Benadryl but seeing there is no information available I really wouldn't want to take it just in case.
Any suggestions?

This site may be useful - it doesn't have the raw data but is compiled by Medicines Information Pharmacists who have been trained to interprt the available data. It states that cetirizine (zirtek) and loratidine (clarityn) are the safest antihistamines to use whilst breastfeeding.

Thanks for that JuA. I see that it says that Chlorpheniramine (which is what I have been taking) is classed as not suitable for lactation for the sleepy baby reason, which is exactly what I was worried about.

Is my doctor likely to prescribe one of the others or will I get sent away because they are not licenced for breastfeeding mothers? I suppose I could just buy them over the counter and tell porkies about them being for someone else, or fib that I'm not breastfeeding if they ask.
