bottle feeding...when do you stop sterilising the bottles??

hi iv had so many differing opinions on this one i just thought i would ask here to 'round-off' my view!! its so confusing when im getting told ten different things!!
so when is it safe/ appropriate to stop sterilising my babys bottles? shes 6 months old now so... come on guys what say you??[smile

Now. Wash in hot soapy water, clean and air dry.

I reckon after 6 months either a wash in the dishwasher if possible or a good clean in washing up liquid and water would be enough. Mine is 7 months and I've mostly stopped sterilising and also use water straight from the tap for his bottles now.

I never started. No bottles until 6 months and then did as Kenneth suggests.

thanx for your comments iv been told by a few people that 6 months is ok to stop sterilising but others have said 9 months 12 months... theres so much different info that its hard to know which ones right you know!!

...and in the US hardly anyone sterilises ever, just dishwasher and airdry from birth.

free yourself from the steriliser!

Ditto with Mrs Badger although dishwashers can "crack" the bottles and if not in a soft water area leave detergent deposits in the bottle so I go with hot soapy water and air dry.
