Hiya,
I know this is a bit silly, but doesn't anyone else really fancy peanut M&M's??? They used to be my favourite, but contains peanuts and we have a family history of allergies (excsma & hayfever). To make matters worse, DS seems to have an allergic reaction to chocolate, so can't even have other chocs.. Been 2-3 months now, and I really, really fancy sweets. Don't like jelly sweets much as they taste of nothing but additives and unhealthy stuff. Anyone got any good ideas??? Maybe something homemade??? Cravings are getting strong.

M&S Percy Pig & Friends - foamy/jelly sweets flavoured with fruit juice so not to additivey.

also worth a try but hideously easy to eat tons of is buying a big block of either marzipan or ready to roll icing, rolling it out and cutting squares or little shapes, leaving them to dry for a bit then boxing them up. Good value too.

Or Butterkist popcorn is virtually a sweet...

I LOVE marzipan. Doesn't it contain nuts though??? But I suppose I can eat nuts? Just not peanuts?

yogurt covered raisins?

archiesmummy · 06/07/2006 14:51

Yogurt covered fruit's not a bad idea! Excellent. I can take a trip to Julian Graves now and get some actually.

marzipan does indeed contain almonds but not peanuts - would be worth trying a tiny bit to check no reaction from DS before wolfing a whole kilo!
