8 month old only taking max 4oz each feed

My dd is 8 months now and was ebf but now has finally agreed to take the bottle for a couple of feeds. I normally give her the first one of the day and last one at night. My only issue is is that she only takes around 4oz maximum which I know isn't enough. She feeds twice at night and feeds before her naps. Is it ok that she only takes 4oz each time? Eventually I would like to stop bf but I'm worried if I do she won't b getting enough milk.

this suggests 720ml/day after solids introduced.
4oz is about 100ml, so 7 feeds of this size a day meets those recommendations.
Currently you are feeding first thing, twice (?) before naps, bedtime, twice at night. Thats 6 feeds, so your not very far off the formula recommendation (and since most of those feeds are bm, you have no idea if shes taking 1oz or 10 oz each feed).
Doesn't sound bad to me, but then I never ff, so never could worry how much they were taking!

if she is well established on solids then the amount of milk recommended is around 20oz alongside meals. If you are giving 2 x 4oz feeds alongside bf then I am sure she is getting plenty. You can always make up some of the intake through milk in foods/cereal and other dairy products

from the above link:
Once your baby is fully established on solids, he’ll need about 500ml to 600ml of formula every day alongside a varied diet. If he doesn’t want this amount of milk, you can always give him milky foods such as custard, rice pudding and yoghurt.

it's enough if that's how much she wants!

given that you don't know how much she takes at the breast I wouldn't start worrying overly about how much she takes from a bottle :)

trust her to take what she needs

Thank you for all your replies. I'm going to try and leave the bf for the middle of the night and see if the makes a difference in her intake of formula. She wakes up quite a lot in the night and I just want to try and take that as well as I'm extremely sleep deprived.
How many ounces do you hurt and cheese count for I've forgotten since I had my first. And I've also forgotten what time of day to give the second bottle. It's like I'm a new mum all over again lol
