depends which "experts" you listen to!

I think the latest research puts more emphasis on long-chain amino acids and general similarity to breast milk, but that could all be rubbish for all I know.

I think really you should just try oe and see how your dc gets on with it. dd was bottle fed for a while, but all the fancy expensive milks gave her the runs.

Thanks SenoraPostrophe

Anyone else?

As Tiktok says, go for one you know you can get at your late-night chemist/petrol station (do they sell formula?) - basically try one, see if it suits your baby, if it does, use that and make sure you can get hold of it in an emergency.

I've heard that it is best to kee switch formula occasionally so that your LO gets a the full range of additives etc as even different batches of formuls contain different ingredients etc and the different companies recipes differ so much

Sorry to disagree Sazhig, but my paedie said not to switch as lo system is quite sensitive so you want to find a formula that agrees with their little systems and stick with it - they are all pretty much the same now anyway ie the "closest to breastmilk" thing, so I think that in terms of vitamin intake, there isn't one that is paticularly better than the other - you just want to find one that suits baby.
