For the past month or so my 9 month old DS has been on the move. He's figured out crawling and standing and loves to be on the go.
The trouble is that he won't even be still while he's nursing. Last night he started out laying on his side, right away he started to squirm and ended up face down standing on his tip toes with him bum up in the air...still latched on. I've tried taking him off when he does it, I've tried feeding him sitting up but neither have worked. He just wants to go go go all the time!
My breasts are sagging enough I don't need him to stretch them out even more.
Help! Has anyone been through this? Does anyone have any suggestions?

lol at bf on tip toes and bum in the air! My ds does this, sometimes tries to crawl away still latched on
I find that when ds does it he's usually had enough, but doesn't quite want to let go, iyswim. So I usually take him off and he's not bothered, if something else has caught his eye. What happens if you feed him when he's really sleepy, does he still have the energy for acrobatics? I am hoping this is just a phase but not sure how long it lasts...

Ds does this, it's as if he is trying to feed from every possible angle!! If it is getting too much, I just tell him to stop and try and hold him still until he settles while talking to him and trying to soothe him. Doesn't always work though....

ha ha - my dd (9 months today!) does this - she really finds some amazing angles

she's a bit better if i feed sitting up and holding her on her back, but i like feeding lying down (lazy mummy), so generally i just put up with it - i do find it funny.

sorry - i'm not being very helpful

i'll keep an eye on this thread - i hadn't considered the extra sagging - yikes.

Well, at least I'm not alone in this!
Last night he was really sleepy so he fell asleep right away. Thank god!
But those nights are few and far between. Usually he's cranky and tired downstairs and then when I take him up to bed he's ready to play!
