Advice on starting mixed feeding at 5.5 months and fertility returning

Hi - I have been ebf my dd from birth (save the odd carton of aptimel when we have been out for the eve).
At the minute she feeds at approx 7, 10, 1, 4, 7 and sometimes at 5am. She is being weaned and currently has breakfast and tea (not much at the mo).
I plan to swap the 1 and 4 feed for a bottle of formula. My question is - is my supply sufficiently established to continue with bf's for the other feedings. Also how much (floz) do you think she would need. Also does anyone have any advise on whether this reduced amount of bf's is enough to kick start my monthly cycle agin?
In case anyone asks why I am bothering with the faff of introducing formula now it's because we want to start trying for another baby fairly soon. It took us several years to conceive dd and required fertility treatment and lots of medication. Also feeding in public has become a nightmare with dd as she gets so distracted, shrieks, pulls off just as my letdown starts etc! I have been getting quite stressed as I am planning my day around her feeds rather than just getting out and about.
TIA

My ds is about the same age and feeds at the same times during the day, but we wake him at 11pm for a feed then he goes through. The late evening feed has always been formula.

I recently switched to ff for all feeds, gradually over a number of weeks. I dropped the 4 pm feed first then the 10 am feed. He was still feeding well at the other feeds. You might find it better not to swap two feeds in a row as you will then have 3 hours between feeds (7 - 10am), then 9 hours (10am to 7 pm). If you drop the 10 and 4 feeds the remaining ones will be more evenly spaced which I would have thought would be better for your supply (but this doesn't really help with the public feeding problems if you want to go out all day).

With the formula he has 210 ml. He also has solids at breakfast and dinner - just a few spoons of fruit/veg. In the last few days he seems to be still hungry after his bottle and cries a bit so I am thinking of upping some feeds to 240 ml (he has had 210ml in his bottle since about 4months). He is rather a greedy boy though and quite big!

I don't know what other people's experiences are but my cycle didn't start until I had pretty much given up all bfs.

Thanks so much dontyouknow- that makes sense about the spacing of feeds too.
