Moan about Amazon, and where's best to buy Lansinoh pads?

I like the Lansinoh breast pads but they are quite pricey, so I have generally got them from Amazon as it's the best price I've seen. I have even recommended them for this reason on threads on here before. They became add on items. It hadn't been a problem until now - I've ordered a couple of boxes with something else I've needed, and got over the limit. There was nothing else I needed today, so I was resigned to ordering three boxes (I'm still hoping my supply will settle down enough, at least to switch to reusables, some time soon...). I added them to my basket and went to check out - and after going through the process was told I was only allowed to order one, it removed the other two, and then it got all confused as of course I was no longer over £10. I can get round it this time as it turns out there's something else DH wants, but this is going to be a very regular problem! So does anyone know any other good places to get Lansinoh pads, without quite so many conditions attached? Thanks.

Maybe you could look for offers? Baby things are 3 for 2 at boots right now, and free delivery to your local store.

Switched to reusables and never looked back, was skeptical that they would be as good but pleasantly surprised so maybe give them a shot earlier? Tried Avent ones which were useless before getting some from the nappy lady which have been great and way more comfortable and breathable than the lansinoh ones. Either way hope you get sorted with a supply!

John Lewis is cheapest day to day but Sainsbury's include them in their save 1/3 baby promotions, which is cheaper still.

Thanks ananikifo - with the 3 for 2 and advantage card points that works out as a really good price at Boots. I can't get the free delivery to a local store unless I spend £20, but I might think of something else to get, and if not, I could just see if they have three boxes in stock.

JRsandCoffee, thanks. I have some Little Lamb bamboo ones which I have seen recommended by a few people on here. They've been washed a few times, no fabric conditioner, but I have quite a strong letdown and they just don't seem to absorb it all fast enough. I absolutely agree that good reusables are more comfortable though. I'll get there eventually - with DS1 things calmed down when he was around 12/13mo, and DS2 is 10mo now so it hopefully won't be long.

Oh, sorry, x-posted Leviticus. I will remember that if I'm near John Lewis, and Sainsbury's would certainly be an option. I confess I had assumed that on the high street would always be more expensive, and that people would recommend other places online, but if I can pick them up in the shops (even if it varies which shop) that would be more convenient - I always seemed to miss the order and so would have to go to the post office anyway. Thanks everyone.

If its any help I used to back up the little lambs at night with a folded muslin down one of those support feeding camis which was a more breathable alternative, a bit of a faff but more comfortable. Fingers crossed it won't be long!

yes I used to just shove a muslin down by that stage. elegant I know!
