So... gas. What's normal?

4wo ds is ff. She's eating great and putting on weight fine. She's a happy little thing but she's just so gassy!
We've tried everything. Infacol didn't do much. Gripe water helped her burp but trapped the farts. She's currently on dentinox which seems to help a bit.
We feed her sitting up-ish with Dr Browns, frequent pauses for burping, lots of burping positions and up to 1hr spent burping after a feed.
And yet she's still gassy all the time between feeds. And if she falls asleep she inevitably wakes up with 'the farts' 30 min-1hr later.
She's not screaming/colicky. She seems to find it more annoying than distressing as she doesn't cry, just grumbles.
I find it annoying though as it affects how long she'll sleep for - I'm convinced she'd go longer at night if it wasn't for the gas waking her up.
So my question is - is this normal? Shall we leave her be as she's not upset, and just wait for her to grow out of it? Or should we think about switching formula?
Thanks Smile

I'm not a great expert, but my 8 week old DD is also incredibly gassy! She screams the place down every time she farts! She's my PFB so I've been super paranoid and have spoken to the doctor, HV and been to the walk in centre about it and they've all said its normal. The HV said that Apatamil is the one that they recommend, but to try a comfort milk if that's still causing an issue. We use the Cow and Gate comfort milk now and whilst she's still gassy it's much better than it was. Good luck!

Thanks. I don't think it's the formula for her. I can hear er gulping down air as she feeds but I'm not sure what else to do about it. We use the Dr Brown bottles and the no. 1 teats. But she still sometimes chokes and splutters and milk runs out of the side of her mouth.

Sounds normal to me, and it's not distressing or painful. She will grow out of it :)
