Is this a dairy intolerance?

I have noticed a few times my ebf 10 wk old getting very fussy and colicky at certain times. No consistency in it and at first I put it down to just growth spurts etc. Yesterday and today have been pure hell. As I am on a diet and not great with dairy products (they play hell with my sinuses) I don't tend to eat a lot of dairy. However as a treat Saturday night I had some pavlova with a good dollop of cream. Saturday night and all through sunday ds wouldn't settle at all, restless in sleep, very colic like screaming and cramping up etc. this is followed by terrible wind and diarrhoea. not putting two and two together I finished off the leftover pudding last night. Cue repeat of problems today and a very unhappy baby? Anyone else had similar experiences?
