4 month old reducing feeding

Just wondering if anyone else has come across this. My 4 month old DD is ff. Up until the weekend she's been having up to 1 litre a day over five feeds, which have always been on demand (we don't feed to a timetable). She's on the 85th centile for weight but most of this is length rather than girth (she is very long for her age).

However, since Friday she just seems to have gone off milk. She hasn't asked for a feed at all so we've ended up feeding her when it's getting what we feel to be late. She'll take maybe 100ml but then will start pushing the teat out of her mouth and refuse any more. She isn't upset or distressed - in fact she's been positively charming and lively, and is sleeping well, doing plenty of nappies etc.

I'm not sure if this is just a weird phase or somethong I should be worrying about, so just wondered if anyone had any experience or ideas?

If shes happy and lively its nothing to worry about. She will start eating soon, when shes ready.

In the Wonder Weeks book they mention some babies lose their appetite around a developmental leap. My bf baby certainly gets more fussy and/or snacky when she's working on new skills, such as rolling over. And 4 months is a big developmental leap...

If she's happy and getting plenty wet nappies don't worry.

Thanks everyone. DD was in Nicu for a while after she was born because she refused to feed in any way, shape or form, so I think I'm maybe a bit over-anxious about her feeding generally. Will try to relax!
