EBF on demand and expressing - when do you find the time?

Hi all,
I am EBF on demand my 4mo and expressing about 4/5oz a day after the first feed of the morning (off the opposite breast, never takes more than 10mins) when I know she'll sleep for at least an hour after.
I would ideally like to express twice a day - but not sure when to fit it in so as not to affect her feeds and to ensure I'm getting a decent amount each time!

When do you express?
Thanks in advance :)

Wanted to see others ideas and also bump this up for you.

I have a 7 wk old dd, and need to get into better expressing habits, so sorry for clinging on to your thread op, but hope you get some answers!

Have you tried expressing whilst feeding? That can be a good time to get lots.

Or in front of the TV in the evening? whatever time is most convenient is best. You might not get much at first but if you stick to a time then your supply will increase.

I used to get up before baby and pump one boob, if I didn't then I wouldn't have got any out she ate all day long!

Still does lol

I used to pump in the evening a couple of hours after I had put my dd down for "the night" (ok so it wasn't all night but I'd put her down at 8 ish and she'd not wake til 2 or 3 so would pump around 10pm to give me a couple of hours to "charge up")

Thanks for the replies.

haloflo any tips on how to express while feeding? I don't think I have enough hands for that!
I'm using a medela swing btw

Er I only did it when I had a newborn but use a pillow to push baby high enough and just use your arm closest to the head to cradle baby. Other hand free to pump.

It might not work with a nosy 4 mo though!
