10 month old baby and nursing strike

My baby is ten and a half months old and is on day two of a nursing strike, which I think is teething related. She last fed yesterday morning at 6am. She took a bottle of cows milk last night and this morning as I do not have formula in the house; she took it happily and enjoyed it. I don't know how long the nursing strike will last for but I am wondering whether to take it as an opportunity to wean her off the breast as I am back to work when she is 1. I know you are not supposed to give cows milk as a main drink until 1 but considering that is 6 weeks away would it be so bad if she is drinking it happily?

Also, I am in considerable pain after not feeding for so long. I have tried but I cannot get much milk out. Any easy expressing tips much appreciated!

Ouch, poor you! Can't comment on the cows milk thing but my little one is just starting to get grumpy teething and if it is that I find that putting anbesol on her gums before feeding helps a lot! Hope it passes!
