Do I need to pump to keep supply up?

Hi my baby is 14 weeks. My boobs no longer leak and are usually soft and manageable, but I wonder if I have enough milk. My baby is always sucking her thumb and is not as satisfied after feeds as she used to be. A few weeks ago I pumped to leave milk and ended up with extra full boobs which she seemed to quite like filling up on. Should I be pumping regularly to keep supply up?
Thanks

I think you just need to feed a bit more often and then the supply will increase. I had many a 'I don't have enough milk' moments, when the kids were going through growth spurts. It always caught up, but it's a bit frustrating while it does.

i agree, you just need to feed more often.

it's not that she's "not satisfied", it's that she needs more as she's growing.

Do you mean just put her on the boob more often when she might be hungry, but not displaying all-out hunger signs? I am usually quite free with the boob anyway, but can try even more often. She seemed happiest when I had the really full kind of superboobs, iykwim

yup. :)

DD never shows the traditional hunger signs, but she just gets arsey.

Very well done it seems you might be right ladies! I had thought DD was just cranky for the last few days but have fed her much more often over the last few hours and she's seemed hungry every time.

My Ds prefers is when my boobs are full and heavy feeling - maybe because it comes more easily?
