Does a thermos keep water hot enough (and for how long) to use to make bottle?

Anyone know how long a decent thermos would keep water hot enough to make a bottle assuming it is filled straight away from a boiled kettle?

According to NHS website for a couple of hours if the flask is full.

Oh is that all? No good for overnight then?

May I suggest a bit of science.
Buy a thermometer and test it.
It needs to be 70°c.

The water temp. rule is new. I could have told you how long to microwave milk for from fridge temp and made up with room temp water as that's what I tested, but 70° is all new.

You can get very good digital thermometers on eBay you need to do some experiments.

Gosh no! Formula can contain salmonella and other possibly life-threatening bacteria so water must be at least 70 degrees centigrade to kill them off. No way will it be kept hot enough overnight.
