breastfeeding but which bottles for expressed milk?

Hi
Sorry if this has been done before.
I'm ebf ds2 and hope to continue but would like to be able to express for when I need to leave him (have a wedding in Feb) or if out and about on occasion.
Not sure which bottles are good for a breastfeeding baby?

With Ds1 we grabbed first bottles in shop which were tommee tippee anticolic. He took them ok but the colic bit was really fiddly.
I have an avent manual pump but would upgrade to an electric (any recommendations?) And last time used plastic milk storage bags to freeze milk so dont need to be tied to avent.
I saw some laminosh bottles in mothercare which claim all kinds but seem a bit expensive?

Any advice or recommendations as i dont want to waste loads of money on bottles

There are bottles specifically designed for ebf babies - by medela and also 'the first years'.
I preferredmedela bags to lansinoh - one of the latter split. But also with medela ones you can pump right into the bag.

My 6wk old dd will happily take ebm from avent bottles, nothing fancy/pricey - but then she is a bit of a guzzler will try to eat anything near her

Good old fashioned trial and error?

I used the Medela ones that came with the pump.

Thanks for your.replies.
I am getting so confused as almost every bottle says its similar or mimics breastfeeding or something so don't want to fall for some marketing trick!
Think your right bigpig Blush it will have to be trial and error! May start with medela though.cos I do like the look of their electric pumps.
Just got to actually remember how to use the breast pump bow otherwise they'll be nothing to put in the bottle! :)

I really rated Medela because you could pump straight into the bottles, attach a teat and you were away. The bags were also easy to use.

Otherwise or for ff I rate Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature (the non-colic ones). Not least because you can buy the stuff in most supermarkets, which is VERY handy.

I use medela bottles to pump into (buy cheap on amazon without the teats) but avent ones for LO to drink out of as he covers himself with milk with the medela teats and ends up with terrible wind as can drain the bottles so fast.

Nuk bottles worked a treat for my fussy DD!

NUK teats (the latex ones in particular) are a very good mimic for breastfeeding - the orthodontically shaped teat encourages the same mechanism with the tongue, and the latex ones are a good simulation for skin. DS has been using these since 2 weeks old and has never had any confusion issues. The wide next teats will fit any wide neck bottle, but there are also narrow neck teats which will fit the narrow bottles like the ones that come with some pumps. I've seen the wide neck ones stocked in boots and tesco (although maybe not in very small stores), but NUK have an online shop which has always delivered very quickly.

I have the Ameda Lactaline double electric pump, and it is really good. Someone said there is an offer on it at the moment with Amazon family?

We've got Tommee Tippee closer to nature bottles for EBF and the electric pump from the same range where you can express straight into the bottle or tip the milk into freezer bags.
