Green poop + other issues - any ideas?

So my 17 wo is BF and has had green poop and/off for maybe 10+ days now. I know on its own and as a one off it's fine but something isn't quite right. She is a bit windier than usual and has started posseting quite a bit which she almost never did. She's gone from being a one poop a day girl to one during/after most feeds now which is a sign of something I think I read. Not sure if coincidence but she's also not sleeping as well as she did. Apart from this she seems fine in herself and not obviously sick iyswim.

She's always been a v efficient feeder to the point I get her weighed all the time (I know I know) to check she is taking enough - we're talking minutes per feed.

Any ideas? I don't think I'm drinking nearly enough water, not sure if that would impact? I wonder if she is only taking foremilk or developing an allergy.

Anyone else had this, not sure what to do.

TIA

Just to add until this point her weight gain has been fine - hovers around/below 50th.

I had this at about the same time. I was so worried. Turned out it was too much foremilk which was also making him very windy and irritable. I now feed from one side twice in a row to make sure it is properly drained before switching to the other. I did put a link in feeding a few weeks ago. It was a very precise and detailed article and really helped me out. Will try & find it.

Thanks! She is being v nosy/distracted during daytime feeds so seems like maybe it is too much foremilk as I would switch sides for the next feed.

Sorry I took so long. I found the article. If is long but very worth reading. Her advice worked for me. Smile

Do you have a fast let down? Often if you do, and have lots of milk, it can hit their tummies quite hard and give them green poo from all the lactose.
Try Biological nursing, by positioning them as though they are sitting on your lap facing you to feed while you lean back, as this will slow your flow down.

There is new research to suggest that foremilk and hind milk are not really separate.

Good luck Smile
