Just that.
Have had tonnes of puke all over me, twice in last hour. She also has a cold with chesty cough.
It's awful puke with green snot in it.
Pharmacist said it would be ok. Have taken it as eye drops since weds.

Not sure if she's a puker like Dd1 or having a reaction.

Can it change the taste of the milk or make it irritable to her stomach?

Panicking little because she's only 3 weeks.

Think you have the name of the meds incorrect, Elsqueak.

Usually, things like eye drops work topically only, not systemically - they don't get into the blood stream and cannot get into the milk in anything like the quantities needed to affect taste or constituents. Maybe give your HV a ring and then you can decide if your baby needs to see a doc. She may be poorly.

You're right. Missing an 'm'.
Should be Chloramphenicol.

Yeah, will try HV. Just wondered if anyone knew of this from experience.

Conjunctivitis in babies needs to be assessed by a doctor as if it is the infectious kind they need to see an eye specialist. See if you can see your GP or call NHS Direct on 0845 46 47.

If she doesn't have conjunctivitis I would phone anyway to check that you should be giving her eye drops for a cold.

Sorry for getting the wrong end of the stick!

From a quick read on the internet Chloramphenicol eye drops not recommended while breastfeeding unless there are no other medications suitable.

I would check with your doctor.
