Oversupply and blocked ducts- HELP

Hi,
I have an oversupply problem in my right boob and I've just developed a blocked duct. Fuck me, it's agony.
What the hell can I do to resolve? I guess it would help to express and completely drain it, but this will give my body the message to produce more and will make the oversupply problem even worse.
Any ideas?

oh no! I feel for you.

One time emptying of your boob isn't going to change the message. Give yourself some relief, deal with the blocked duct, not doing anything can turn into mastitis.

Cold damp cloth can help too!

Drain it. Mastitis will come if you don't.

Drain it, you don't want mastitis, it is awful. Then google 'oversupply blockfeeding' - it really, really helped me. Actually Kellymom had some fantastic articles to help with oversupply ie kellymom.com/bf/got-milk/supply-worries/fast-letdown/

I had undersupply with my first, oversupply with my second - if I am ever lucky enough to have another, I hope that just like Goldilocks, the third will be 'just right'.

Massage it (in the shower is good) very firmly towards the nipple. It hurts but helps to shift the clots of milk out of the ducts.

And when you feed, position your baby so their chin is lined up with the blocked duct (you may need help with this! I had to lie on the bed with baby facing towards my feet, kicking new in the face and propped up on about seventeen pillows).

Thanks all, I have drained- pumped 200ml from the sore one- feels better. Not really sure how to avoid this in the long run- the oversupply issue is because I had to express from day 1 because baby wasn't well and couldn't feed. She's now nearly 4 weeks and latching ok, but I'm still having to express.
With blockfeeding, would I feed with the one with oversupply (the sore one) and express a little off the top of the other one, or t'other way round?
Thank you for advice- I never thought breastfeeding could be so difficult.
