If you consider children separately, 5 and a half actual consecutive years. Thats about one sixth of my life!

Whispers 9 years

AND SHOUTS at nosey journalists that there is no point in PMing me again, because neither DD2 nor Me are giving any interviews and the only photo I have is of her feeding is at 2 days old.

SummerRain · 18/09/2012 12:38

7 3/4 years of constant bfing and/or pregnancy for me. I finished feeding the previous child during pregnancy each time (their choice, not mine)

Finished last December and it's been so lovely having my body back!

Startailoforangeandgold · 18/09/2012 12:40

PS I didn't just do that, DD2 gets veryBlush if I mention it.

I didn't care if people knew, she didn't like being fed in publicly after she was about 2.

She's far more socially astute than me, I don't care what people think, she does.

Also she kept very quiet after she was about 4.5 because she knew her friend had been made to stop at 5.
(mother had reached the end of the road because her DD would not sleep in her own bed. My DD sussed that not feeding in the night improved Mummy's temper years before).

RhinestoneCowgirl · 18/09/2012 12:48

I've been bfing since July 2006, with only a 4 month break between DC 1 & 2 as DS stopped when I was pg.

DD will be 4 in December and gravely informs me that she will stop on her birthday... we'll see!

Shock at journalists PMing you startail. Glad you told them to piss off

StealthPolarBear · 18/09/2012 13:57

Wow at 9 years! Is it a bit evil of me to wish you'd lead the journalists on a bit - "yes I still feed my 9yo...yes I can send you a picture" and then send them something they'll have to caption with "woman breastfeeds newborn SHOCK!" :o

StealthGrin
You're naughty, I'm afraid I told her to piss off and reported her to HQ.
Who agree to tell her to piss off too!

She admitted to writing for the Daily Fail. Now they would publish a well balanced intelligent piece?

(I should add DD2 is now at senior school and has most certainly given up).

ISeeThreadPeople · 18/09/2012 14:33

You get PMs from thick journos too? Woo hoo.

They want to write a well balanced and fair article about bfing and cosleeping preschoolers to demand too. They won't twist any of my words at all. Nuh-huh. I'm at 5 PMs from journos so far. Eejits.

StealthPolarBear · 18/09/2012 14:37

oh yes, they're very pro BF as long a the baby is under 2 months, the dad doesn't mind, the PILs don't mind, the dog down the road doesn't mind and the woman "expresses into a bottle" or in an emergency situation is very discreet when out and about in public. They're practically breastfeeding counsellors there.

High 5 to ISeeThreadPeople, Only one so far so you are definitely beating me.

Was actually rather surprised it hadn't happened before.

I get the odd hopeful tutor when I mention Dyslexic DD1.

BuntCadger · 18/09/2012 14:54

I never get Pm from hardly anyone journo's
