Stupid question warning... Will I have any discomfort being at high altitude with full breasts?

I'm still breastfeeding my DC1 (only 3 mo) and we're flying to California from the UK next month. I know it's a bizarre worry, but I keep imagining that as my breasts fill up with milk during the flight they might be more uncomfortable at high altitude than they usually are on land? Has anyone else ever had any problems?

Feel free to laugh at me for such a silly question...

no, don't worry. Did make me laugh though!

They probably won't "fill up" in the same way in a months' time, you're getting to the time where they will start to be controlled by supply and demand hormones rather than post birth hormones, so they won't fill up with milk as such but it will be made on demand pretty much as he feeds. (Also means they won't feel full between feeds - this is normal and doesn't mean your supply is suffering.)

If they are feeling particularly full for any reason I suppose you could always feed to relieve the pressure? I haven't flown with a young baby, but it's not something I've heard of happening before. They advise you to feed on take off and landing anyway in order to prevent pressure building up uncomfortably in your baby's ears.
