EBF 8 week old - bottle green poo?!!

Title says it all really! DD's last 2 nappies have had bottle green, kind of mucusy poo. And not just like a greenish poo, totally green. Nothing's changed, I can't think of anything I've eaten out of the ordinary. Tried her on a bottle about 3/4 nights ago and she took hardly any but that was about the third attempt (formula not breastmilk) so nothing new there. She's fed on demand and usually falls asleep on the boob so I tend to just feed from one side and then next feed from the other (next feed could be anything from 5 mins to 3 hours later).

Any ideas? Should I bring her to the doctor tomorrow?

has she had any kind of illness ? can cause green mucousy poo (sorry am feeding and can't post proper reply)

No that's thing, she's fine. She's had a few hours each day of struggling to poo where she can really agitated on and of until she manages to poo (most of the day she goes no problem) but she's been like that since day one.

Do you have a strong flow and any signs of over supply? I had this about the same time as you as I have a tendancy to over supply so can get a hind/foremilk imbalance. This is really easy to fix by block feeding, which will also help settle your supply if you do have an oversupply.

Here's some info about over supply and foremilk imbalance and what you can do to help breastfeeding.hypermart.net/toomuchmilk.html

Pretty sure I don't have oversupply. Had it with DS but have had no engorgement or leaking or anything this time. Am feeding her now and it's more uncomfortable than usual like she's not latch properly but can't get her on any other way. Not sore but just not comfy.

We had the same thing happen - lasted a few weeks and then the poo went back to yellow for no apparent reason! I spoke to the doctor - she said it could be hind/foremilk imbalance so I tried block feeding. No idea if it helped or not - the change back to yellow was a week or so after I stopped the block feeding.
