So I've managed 80ml in 80 minutes.
I also fed for 15 mins at midnight and again at 5.

Can someone remind me how I can increase my milk supply?

This has been shown to increase pump yields.

Is there a particular reason you want to increase supply? To cut out top up feeds, to build a freezer stash for going back to work, to donate BM?

Thanks folks. Off to follow up your links. DS is 10mo but dairy and soy intolerant. Looking to increase supply to have spare to cook with, for drinking (he'll drink from a cup during the day but only bf for 5 mins during the day) and I'd like to drop the 2 night feeds and get more than 3hrs sleep at a stretch. And some in the freezer is always useful and we've almost run out.

5 mins of bfing for a 10m (or even a lot younger than 10m) is probably plenty if they are feeding a couple of times a day or as often as they will take it if offered (bfing an hour or so before food until 12m).

Thanks for the expressing links folks. I'm now doing a mix of pumping and hand expressing and even after hard nights I'm still getting out enough for breakfast every day although I've not yet managed to increase the volume to proviode drinking milk. Interestingly I can't hand express on the right, but I've noticed ds hardly feeds on the right at all so possibly I'm not producing much on that side and it will increase if I keep expressing...

I'm still going to the docs this week to get some formula as back up though... then he can drink milk during the day whether I can express more or not. It's nice to be looking at formula as back up rather than the future though so I appreciate your help and advice!
