DS is 5 weeks, ebf. Usually a v happy baby, putting on weight fine

Sincethe middle of last night he's been feeding what feels like constantly. His usual afternoon nap has been much shorter. i am knackered and my nipples feel yuk.

He seems to be fighting sleep. WE've tried taking him out in his sling and buggy and he drops off but wakes up as soon as we're back.

ive got frozen milk - should i use that? help!

I would say just keep feeding him yourself. He's upping your supply by constantly feeding to ensure he has enough for his growth spurt so just go with it. Its hard tho when they are constantly attached. Make sure someone is waiting on you hand and foot!x

Just keep feeding him yourself and eat a lot of cake. I found that I was always really hungry whenever DD was going through a growth spurt. NB: cake will have no effect on your supply or quality of your milk, but I think it'll make you feel better :) Oh and have plenty of bottles of water to hand on the sofa.

Classic 6 week growth spurt. You need to spend 3 days on your sofa eating cake, drinking tea and feeding, let everything else slide. By the end of that your milk will have caught up and you'll be fine. It happens every six weeks for the first six months.
