How many feeds at 13 months and should I offer cow's milk?

Hello,

DD is almost 13 months and breast fed. She eats solids very well indeed and has a feed on waking and before bed. She used to have one at lunch time too but it's become a quick 2 mins each side and recently we've been away on holiday and been busy and I've forgotten to offer and she hasn't seemed fussed. The other feeds (morning and night) are proper feeds. She doesn't feed at night.
I'll be starting a new job in September, when she'll be 16 months which will mean I'm not around for the bedtime feed Mon-Thurs so she'll have to have cow's milk then (I'm crap at expressing). I was going to wait til I'm not around and just get DH to give her the cow's milk at bedtime in Sept and carry on bf til then and beyond if sustainable, but then i started wondering if she's only having 2 bfs a day, is that enough? Should I continue to bf her but offer cow's milk with meals too? Is she getting enough calcium? She eats a lot of yoghurt and cheese etc.

Do you feel like it's enough? At this age you can give her cows milk if you like and if she's eating a balanced diet then she'll be fine with a couple of BFs if you feel like that's working well for you. You can offer more if you like, it's down to whatever suits you. Your supply is well established at this stage so you don't need to worry about drying up or anything like that.

I think it's enough and I'm quite happy to only do a morning and bdtime bf as she's really pinchy and a bit inclined to nip at the after lunch feed (I think cos she's not that fussed so gets distracted). I'm quite happy to continue a morning feed 8and a bedtime feed on the days I'm around once I'm back at work) until, well until whenever really.
In terms of nutrition she's 10 kilos (so, about 22lbs) and has lovely fat thighs and is obviously thriving. It's just that everyone else I read about on here with a bf child of the same age seems to be feeding them all the time in comparison and I know if she were formula fed/on cow's milk there would be a min intake, so wondered if I should be offering cow's milk at lunchtime for example.
So, if she's a lovely fat, roly poly 13 month old eating v well, is 2 bfs in 24 hrs ok, with no cow's milk?
Today for instance she's had (and it's not lunchtime yet)

bf, both sides
1 small banana
1 kiwi fruit
3 plain biscuits
1 large egg scrambled
another small banana
1 rosquito (like a tiny sponge doughnut thing) We live in Spain.

I was doing 2 BF's a day when DS was a similar age. He will not drink cows milk from a cup. Our very sensible doctor told me not worry about him drinking milk just to make sure he has lots of dairy and other calcium sources in his diet - spinach, greens, broccoli, kale, almonds etc. - and that the 2 BF's were plenty. I just stopped BFing completely at 18 mos. He eats tons of yogurts, cheese, green veggies etc (I cook them into pasta sauce, omelets ec.) and he has a bit of milk on his cereal but won't drink it and he's absolutely fine. Your DD sounds as if she's thriving so unless she needs some warm milk as a soother before bed I wouldn't worry too much.
