Is it normal to have a good boob and a bad boob?

I have now been bfing my daughter for 6 months now with very few problems (except for 2 bouts of mastitis). I was just wondering if it's normal to have one boob better than the other. The boob I had mastitis in seems to be less efficient with pumping, I can only get 2oz at best from it, 5 from the other in one pumping. Baby seems to get a decent feed off it and be happy but I just wondered if it was normal?

I've always had one boob that's smaller than the other. It seems to have less storage capacity and a slower let down. Both DCs developed a preference for the bigger side, which means my supply dwindles in the small one and I end up really lopsided. Have only ever seemed to be able to express from the bigger one too.

Mine certainly behaved differently when expressing. One would produce two let downs if I kept going, the other wouldn't.

Please tell me they go back to the same (ish) size when I stop feeding? (Planning on going to 12 months or so...)

i definitely had a good and a bad. I fed for 12 months-ish each time, and boobage reduced tremendously afterwards. 10 years on and they're full of fat, but that's my own dumbass fault!

Mine went down to normal size after feeding dc1- not as pert as they were though Grin

I have this! Lefty is Biggy for me (also had mastitis early on so wonder if it has anything to do with it?). She always preferred the left and I would hear the milk coming faster as she swallowed quicker, but always did one and then the other so they got a good rotation. Gave that up at 6 months as made no difference whatsoever to size of 'Littley'. Still BFing at 9/10 months and she always prefers to feed from it. Don't think the other one gets as much milk hence isn't as engorged Blush Am actually really embarrassed about it as my right one is now 2 cup sizes smaller and smaller than it was pre-pg, so worried that when I stop feeding in a couple of months I will be a wonky donkey :(

It's often the case that there is one which is better than the other. Actually it's rare that they're equal!
Everyone says they'll go back to the same size afterwards but for me the left one has stayed one full cup bigger although no one has ever noticed except for me and a lady fitting my bra in John Lewis!

I have a "shouty side" because LO makes a fuss on the bad boob...
