Ones I could use would.

Lonelymum · 17/02/2006 14:06

I am not sure I understand the question, but you can get ones that unclip and the whole cup drops down, or ones with zips which open like a tent IYSWIM!

pootlepod · 17/02/2006 14:07

I have seen zip type ones, think the drop cup is the most common TBH.

Lonelymum · 17/02/2006 14:08

I had both at first, but well before I got to baby No. 4 I only used the zipped ones. I much preferred them.

What's the dispute? [nosey]

a bra that doesn't open in some way to reveal a nipple and much of the breast to enable breastfeeding is not a breastfeeding bra but it may be a maternity bra

well that's your fault for being polite

I would write back and say 'actually I was just being polite by saying it was my fault too which is typical of my English sensibilities. The items are NOT as described and unsuitable for the purpose. I insist that you provide a refund as they are not the product as stated. Please confirm within 3 days or I shall progress a dispute"

Lonelymum · 17/02/2006 14:58

Agree with Twiglett. A nursing bra must open somehow (other than removing the whole bra!) to allow access to the nipple.

IMO, they were incorrectly described.

Hulababy · 17/02/2006 15:00

I agree that a nursing bra must open some how.

stephanie21 · 17/02/2006 15:35

if it doesnt open then its not a nursing bra.i got one off ebay too, which was described as nursing, but it was a maternity bra.(am wondering if you got it off the same person as me).i emailed her and she told me that mothercare described as nursing.i didnt take the matter any further (shouldve i know).ive had drop cup, zips (which i wore once ,trapped my skin and threw it away!!),and also had hook and eye type fastening, which was too tricky,so threw that one aswell!!def go into dispute.

I don't mean to put the cat amongst the pigeons here, but there are some nursing bras which don't unclip or unzip or whatever.

here

However I agree with you entirely that if you can't easily get in about the milk bar then it's not a nursing bra!

thats more a sleep bra.

Smellen · 18/02/2006 21:00

It looks similar to the nursing bras I bought from vertbaudet, which undoes in the middle with a little popper on each side. It's a bit easier than finding a hook, but probably better suited for small boobs. Personally, have taken to wearing a sleep bra as more comfy and I thought it might lead to less mastitis as material gives and has fewer seams. Does this mean my boobs will go more saggy though?
