Nuk are the best (I am convinced). I get them from my local chemist and haven't seen them in Boots, Superdrug or any supermarket. I think you can get them on Amazon. They contain a small core of absorbent material similar to what you get in a nappy.

This is a subject close to my heart Smile as I had big oversupply issues for months and would leak through most pads. Johnsons weren't bad. Boots and superdrug terrible as the filling bunches up and you feel like you have gravel in your bra.

p.s. block feeding (details on Kelly Mom) really helped me with the oversupply. I would alternate boobs every 3 hours or so rather than every feed. It really improved things. People think having abundant milk is great, but not so much when you are spraying your baby in the eye or scrubbing milk jets off the furniture!

Boots washables for me. I double up, have 6 pairs and always half in the wash. When I'm feeding I use a shell to collect milk from the other side and save it to freeze. If I'm out I put the pad from the side I'm feeding from on my other side to double up whilst feeding.
I'd have spent a fortune on disposeables by now if not for washables!
(Boots from 4 yrs ago are much better than their new ones, I've got both)

Lansinoh for me too (went through countless brands with three babies and these I found were the best) I liked the fact they were very thin and didn't show though your top too.

Might be worth checking amazon subscribe and save to see if they stock them - I order all my nappies/wipes to get delivered once a month. Cheaper than supermarket and so much less hassle.

fallingandlaughing lol at scrubbing milk jets off the furniture. My 6 yr old thinks it hilarious when babs pulls off and milk goes shooting off around the room!
His dad isn't any more mature either and I just sigh when I see these two men laughing their heads off while baby looks like he bathed in it.

I was so disappointed with Boots breast pads both reusable and disposable. They are rubbish. The worst ones by far though were Home Bargain ones, plastic backed, make you sweat and don't absorb anything.

I've got to the point where the duvet is my breast pad! it's gross. Today I've been to buy the lily padz - will see how I get on. It must be an improvement!!

been there too with 'milk jets'. More funny than Dh and Dcs reaction is the look of confusion on babys face when she gets an eye full of milk :)
