Lovely dressed suitable for breastfeeding

Hi,

I have three weddings to attend this summer, and need fashion advice! I am breastfeeding, so need to wear something pretty with easy boob access.

I live overseas, and we are flying home in time for wedding no. 1 with very limited shopping time (and I hate shopping with a deadline). My plan is to buy online... But I have no idea where to start looking.

Any ideas? Much appreciated!!

I have had the same problem with back-to-back christenings including my own children. I don't think glamour and breastfeeding go together! After 3 fruitless shopping trips I bought separates from Monsoon, beautiful.

I attended a function a couple of weeks ago in what I thought was a feeding-friendly wrap dress and spent most of the afternoon sat on my own in my car trying to feed. Awful.

I recently wore this dress to a wedding - glammed up with heels & jewellery. DS had a cold so by the end of the night I had snot covered boobs, but that's a different story!

they arnt online, but sainsburys currently have a few dresses (only £20 each) which are suitable for breastfeeding

they are just normal dresses, but dressed up with shoes / handbag / jacket etc would be ideal to where for such events

They have different patterns in the same design

i have 7 (yes seven Shock) weddings coming up and a diamond wedding anniversary party so i plan to wear them then

My suggestion would be a normal, pretty dress with a low-cut and stretchy neckline, with a bolero cardigan over the top for coverage while your baby's feeding (can't slip off/be pulled off like a pashmina). 'Nursing dresses' I've found can be quite hit and miss, in the fit and how fiddly the access is, and I'd steer clear of anything that's a dual purpose maternity/nursing dress as they often have baggy tummies.

I've just bought a dress from Mamaway for wedding in a couple of weeks. It's lovely and just looks like a normal (non nursing) dress. Def recommend their website.

I have successfully breastfed dd at a number of weedings in this dress Dress

I just pulled the front of the dress down, but made sure I was tucked away in a corner in case of boob flashing.

Thank you! I love the milk bug dresses... Just hope I look as good in them as the models do... The don't appear to have recently given birth!!! Hmm

This is my favourite website for finding clothes. It's not specialist nursing stuff, just normal clothes that are BF friendly and it's all high street so should be easy to find (and cheaper).

I usually wear wrap dresses with a cami top underneath, it's always worked well for me.
