too much wind in BF baby and fast feeds

my 5 week old has short feeds and the milk seems to flow pretty fast - she is stuffed after 5 mins and when shes feeding the milk bubbles out of the side of her mouth as thought she cant swallow fast enough. The feed is totally painless the position seems fine and she is gaining weight and getting loads of wet dirty nappies etc. BUT she gets terrible trapped wind which i am sure is because the flow is so fast she ends up gulping? It means she is always grunting and needing burping and being sick with it especially at night. My last baby was the total opposite feeds were slooooow about 40 - 60 mins at this age the milk seemed to just dribble out so im not sure whats going on!.
Is there anything I can do as she was awake from 2-5:30 last night with only a few 10 min naps and it was all the grunting/wind once shes had a good burp it seems to clear but its so hard to actually get the wind up!

It does sound as though you have a fast flow, with her spitting up and being gassy. Does she ever show fussiness at feeds, for example, does she ever clamp here jaws down to try to stop the flow, pull off, or refuse to feed? If so , it really does sound as though fast flow could be an issue for you.

There's lots you can do to resolve the issue, see the following for different feeding positions you could use:

There are other things that might cause gas, for example if she cries a lot she might be taking in a lot of wind. See this link for ways of dealing with gas:

The fact your last baby was a slower feeder might have been down to the way in which he fed, rather than based on your milk flow.
